Items Required for Quoting (TDI FTP Site)

bulletAssembly Drawing - Used to identify component placement.  Also used to identify devices that may require routing by the fixture vendor.

 

bulletSchematics - Required to understand the electrical connectivity of the board. Also used to determine testability of circuit topology.  A  printed copy is  preferred, but electronic files like PDF, DXF, HPGL, DWG, EDIF,  OrCAD's DSN and Postscript can also be processed.

 

bulletCAD Data - Used as the source files for generating a test program.  Router Solutions, Inc (RSI) software is the current tool used to process CAD data.  A list of supported CAD translations can be viewed here.

 

bulletBill-Of-Materials - Used to extract reference designators, part numbers, values and tolerances if not available in the CAD data.  An electronic ASCII or Excel copy is preferred.

 

bulletStatement of Work - Customer specific test and fixture requirements would be detailed in this document. Especially valuable if additional fixture hardware is needed.

 

bulletSystem Configuration Information - Configuration of testing system used at target manufacturing site.  Required items are OS Revision, UUT Power Supplies, Available D/S resources, Additional HW resources, Licensed Software Options (i.e. Opens Xpress™, Junctions Xpress™, Scan Pathfinder™, etc) .
